Due to some of the deficits that come with students with disabilities, these items will allow more engaging small group instruction that is extremely important in the development of reading, writing and mathematical skills. Receiving such gifts will a provide them with the much needed engaging activities and manipulatives that will help them become more comfortable with reading, writing and solving math problems with ease. Because my students struggle with reading fluency and comprehension, they also struggle with writing. The sentence correction books will be an amazing resource to use each day to give them a little more practice with finding mistakes in simple sentences. I truly appreciate anything that is gifted. It is nice to know that there are others that want to see your students succeed as much as I do.
