The headphones are the perfect item to help all the students complete their work and focus on their class meetings. Without headphones to use during their meetings, they are missing vital pieces of information to help their learning. With these headphones, they can work on their oral fluency when using their reading application on their iPads. We are striving to master that oral fluency as well as their reading fluency through various ways - through technology and books.
These books will not only help students with their reading fluency but also get their creative juices flowing when they write their own stories. Using the books to give them new ideas of what to write but also enrich the print-rich classroom that I am trying to provide to them. Every book placed in the library is a new opportunity for them to pique their interest in new books. These books are about subjects we have been working on in class as well as similar to the books they have been wanting to read during their independent reading time.
