I teach STEM, and my students love to complete hands-on projects, whether it's building structures, programming robots, or wiring circuits. Having a second screen would help me manage classes both online and in person, especially considering how technology-heavy my course is.
During any given online class, I am viewing my students' work, the Zoom interface, Google classroom, and more. Sometimes, having only one screen gets in the way of attending to my students' needs. It may be because I lose track of a tab or a window, or perhaps I miss a student's question because the Zoom window is tucked away somewhere in my desktop, or perhaps I can't find the chat while the students are making great contributions.
Having a second screen would allow me to manage all of these different applications and windows with greater ease and serve my students more effectively.
