My classroom floors are not carpeted and are very cold. This rug will allow us to meet and learn together in a comfortable space. This particular rug has a marked space for each child so they can have an individual spot to sit and feel safe. Having a permanent place carpet will allow transitions to be more efficient and allow more time for learning. Currently, I have carpet squares that each child can grab and bring to our meeting area. This process takes time and can create chaos when we are gathering together.
