The materials that I have chosen will go a long way to helping my students with their fine and gross motor skills, as well as helping them think things through and problem solve. The roll race ramps will help the children think about how different textures affect how the cars roll. This will also help them with predicting which cars will make it to the bottom first.
Gross motor skills are also essential for them to work on. The hopscotch puzzle pieces will not only help the children with hopping and jumping but also helping with counting and taking turns. The floor puzzle and the tweezer tongs color sorting kit will help the children with fine motor skills by helping them work on their finger control and grasping.
