I want to get new things for hands-on learning in my classroom and I want to add new things to my safe place for my students. These things will be used in Reading, Math and Science centers. I have picked Alphabet & Number Dough Stampers that they can use to make their names and spelling words for hands on learning. I picked items, so that my student can plant seeds and watch them grow to learn the life cycle of the plants hands on.
I chose a building kit so that my students can do math, science and hands on learning while they play. I am also going to use some of these things to help students learn how to handle emotions when they fell angry, sad, or they just don't understand how they feel. The safe place is a place they go to breath and relax so that they can better understand the world around them. I have picked a great CD to help teach breathing and calming. I found soothing stones that students can hold and rub to help them self calm without my help. I hope that you will help me help my students.
