Education of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fosters ingenuity and creativity. STEM-based education teaches children more than science and mathematic concepts. The focus on hands-on learning with real world application helps develop a variety of skill sets, including creativity, motor skills, and self-efficacy. Items such as the Magna-Tiles and Straw Constructors are just a few examples in our wish list that can encourage innovation, creativity, and 21st century problem-solving skills. STEM activities improve hand-eye coordination and motor skills. They are not only mind stimulators, but they can also enhance a child's fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. When children perform motor skill-focused activities, they become more adept and confident when using their hands. There are also social-emotional benefits to beginning our day with STEM activities. Research showed that STEM education is effective in improving students' learning outcomes, such as academic learning achievement, student motivation, team work, and attitude.
