FCS is applied science, technology and math through context such as nutrition, food science, apparel, textiles and interior design. FCS promotes STEM philosophy through problem based instruction pulling from social, biological and chemical sciences. The Teacher Pay Teacher will allow me to purchase STEM lesson plans for Nutrition/Wellness, Hospitality and Tourism, Consumer Finance, Fashion/Apparel, Human Growth/Development to name a few. The STEM lesson plans through Teachers Pay Teachers will help students develop real world skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, goal setting, cooperation, leadership, communication, and time management.
