The senior class of 2021 has endured so many loses. We'll use the supplies we are requesting to start a new tradition at our school.
Decision Day is a way to CELEBRATE the senior class of 2021...to give them something special to recognize all that they've accomplished and overcome! And most importantly to celebrate all of the amazing places they are headed after high school....whether they are headed to college, a technical program, an apprenticeship, the military or the workforce. The world #Better Make Room for these amazing graduates!
We'll have stations set up around the cafeteria. A selfie station for them to take photos of themselves with their friends wearing their post secondary plans (college sweatshirt, military uniform, etc). We'll post these on our social media accounts. They'll have a station to pick up caps/gowns, a station to write out a poster of their #Decision Day Plan (where they are headed after HS) that we'll post throughout the halls the whole month of May to inspire underclassmen. We'll have a gratitude station where they can write thank you cards to those that have helped them along the way (staff, parent, friends, etc). We'll use the sidewalk chalk to welcome them to school on #Decision Day and celebrate the day and all of the decor to add to the celebration in the cafeteria the day of the event.
