These materials will bring my students additional fun, joy and excitement to their speech-language sessions this school year. Many of my students are working on building their vocabularies, so the Early Language Activity Boxes and the Building Language Lotto, as well as, the What's Inside Box will help with that.
The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help immensely to buy speech-language specific materials that are already created including book companions (to go with the multitude of Scholastic books) and adapted books for students using alternative communication devices. Finally, I know my students will love to take a break from work with the Carry Around Animal Town. They love animals and fun playsets!
The PPE, like the face shields, is a must in this uncertain timfifteen especially for students working with me on speech sounds so we can see each others' mouths. The desk riser and the desk chair are for me to be the most productive and comfortable speech therapist possible. My current desk chair is at least fifteen years old and falling apart so a new chair would be much appreciated, especially as we attend most meetings virtually from our desks these days.
