The supplies and materials I am asking for will make a huge impact on the learning of my 8th-grade health class. With the materials, I will create learning/reading centers. There are a large variety of books I would like to purchase that cover various health topics, along with workbooks students can use. The topics include; depression, anxiety, self-esteem, social media, mental health, sleeping habits, nutrition, fitness, alcohol and drugs, positive thinking, cancer, and bullying. The learning centers will have bean bags and tilt stools to sit on, to offer something different than a desk. I will also have Kindle Fire Tablets available for students to read digital material on. The floating shelves will be used to store the books and reading materials.
