STEM education creates critical thinkers and problem solvers. With STEM careers on the rise, it is important to give students the opportunities to be hands-on with STEM / Computer Science. With the help of Sphero Coding Robots students will get to learn how things work, how they break, and how to fix them. Beyond just coding a robot, students will be engaged while building 21st Century skills; such as creative thinking, teamwork, perseverance, and flexibility. Students will be engaged with tangible coding lessons and projects. My students have had experience with these robots at STARBASE. However, the fun field trip ended and now students are missing the opportunities to learn more about coding inside the classroom. Sphero Coding Robots will make a huge difference in the knowledge that my students obtain through coding.
