The ability to see my students on a separate monitor will afford me the opportunity to keep them on task and engaged. I will be able to see them as I provide instruction. It will allow me the opportunity to monitor them one on one. It will allow me the type of connection I do not have currently as they know I cannot see them and thy take that opportunity to tune out. We are making amazing growth now but just think about the wonderful response I will gain if they know they are being held accountable even when I am sharing my screen!! A second monitor is a game changer. Students will know that they are able to communicate with me with their expressions, their body language, etc. It won't just be a one-way street any more.
