We want to bring the science students of our school more hands-on projects in science. They are curious about different areas of science.
We thought it would be a fun science adventure to start a butterfly garden here at our school with our 8th grade students. We will cover the topics of plants and plant reproduction in 8th grade science. We want to start the garden with growing seeds inside the classroom. We will discuss plant reproduction with flower models, and then plant the seedlings in the garden using the gardening tools.
We hope that other grades and subjects can enjoy the butterfly garden each year!
