I teach at a title one school and we focus on literacy every day. Our goal is to bridge the gap from last year to the end of this year. Our students are eager to learn and love it when we let them pick a book to take home.
The goal of our staff is to make sure every child leaves for summer with their own book or two to prevent the summer slide. This is a big project to take on but I know we can do it with the help of Donors Choose.
