I am a first year teacher so I have limited supplies for my class. Having books to read would open up a whole new world for my kids beyond Louisiana. Also, I is my hope that these books will develop a love of reading, which I consider highly important. Computers would allow this often forgotten and neglected population to compete with their regular ed peers. These kids deserve a fighting chance at a promising future no matter how differently they learn. These supplies would stay in the classroom to prolong their life so others may benefit from them.

About my class
