My students have just completed the historically fiction book "Blood on the River." This story goes along with their learning of Virginia history and the settlement of the Jamestown colony.
They were so captivated by the story that they asked to read the sequel "Poison in the Colony." They actually looked for a sequel and told me about it! They asked for the opportunity to read it and carry on their learning about Samuel, John Smith, Chief Powhatan, and the Virginia Colony. I am excited about their love of history and reading, but I will need help in granting their request. Please help me help them continue this thirst for knowledge!
