We want to read Flora and Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures as a class. When we started the year, we only had 6 students at a 3rd grade reading level. We have worked hard to get to the point where we can read a book together as a class!
We don't have any classroom set of books that we can read and everyone gets a copy!! Reading is an adventure and I want to share that love with the students.
The book study will allow us to go into more depth as we study author's craft, text structure, theme, etc. and learn the skills that allow us to read to learn!
