I have requested a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card so I can purchase monthly math centers for the whole year! I love to be able to watch my students grow academically by allowing them to use thematic math centers. My children will have fun learning about Number Sense, Place Value, Addition, Subtraction, Geometry & Fractions, Graphs and Data, and Money and Coins. These differentiated math centers will be an extension of our everyday Math Book. Using these unique and creative math centers throughout the year, I will be able to cover all the first grade math standards. These exciting thematic math centers will encourage the children to want to learn more about math. The children will enjoy learning while playing in these different math centers. With these differentiated math centers, I can easily make a set and send it home to my families to work on with their children.
