I plan to utilize various applications that support students with special needs that I have learned about through professional development and working with speech & language, occupational therapist, and behavior specialist to provide access in new and exciting ways. Applications such as AAC Genie, sounding board, seesaw and proloquo2go help support students in their speech and language and academic development. Visual schedule application support students behavioral needs and help connect language to daily routines. I plan to find even more to try in our classroom and use supports what best meet my students needs.
