My students each have access to iPads in the classroom. On the iPad my students work on amazing programs. The main program my students work on is iReady for math and reading. Students get additional instruction in math and reading while using this program. It is tailored to their level of learning.
Our class started the year with earbuds. While this was a great idea, the earbuds were too small for their little ears. They would not stay and and they were very easily broken. Now my students have no headphones to listen to their instructions. They have to keep their volume down so that those around them can also hear what they are being taught. Having headphones would greatly benefit my students and would help them to continue to progress without the distraction of other noises in the classroom.
