Flexible seating allows students to quickly and easily pair up, work in small groups or discuss as a whole class – without moving them because they are not staying focus or distracting other peers. This also allows them to focus on the tasks and cuts down on disciplinary incidents and behaviors.
Flexible seating gives students the option to control their physical environments in which they work best. This leads to increased student engagement which is linked to higher motivation and academic performance.
Alternative seating means the students in a classroom might not be using desks. We see it as critical to enhancing learning across our age group. These seatings will be use at school.
