I have carefully chosen a listening center that students will be able to control on their own, from set-up to close-up. This will lead to greater confidence as each child gets their turn to choose a book, hold the book for the small group, and distribute headphones.
Over my 22 years of teaching, I have acquired many books with CDs; however, wear and tear have taken their toll on the CD player and headphones and I no longer have a working listening station for students to hear these stories. By gifting us with a CD player with headphones and a headphone junction, students will be able to hear more books being read aloud to them.
About my class
