A color printer will better engage my students in the learning process. For example, we are currently studying place value concepts, and we associate each place value period with a different color. By associating concepts with certain colors, students are better able to retain the information.
The use of a color printer and felt tip pens will greatly enhance our math, science, and engineering projects! I would also like the ability to print and laminate colorful personal learning cards for my students in all subjects throughout the year.
My students take better ownership of their learning when they are able to create a quality project. This requires certain materials. Black and white just doesn't cut it! I am hoping to better engage my students with the use of a color printer and felt tip pens.
