Teachers currently spend their class time running back and forth from the back of the room where their computers are located to the front of the room to teach. Our school's funds go towards meeting the basic needs of our poverty-stricken minority-majority students, like pencils, paper, notebooks, and backpacks. Therefore, we haven't had the ability to fund any technological improvements, and we are falling behind other schools in the area because of it. We have a long way to go before we catch up to the advancement other schools, even just a couple miles away, have, but these presenter remotes would be a start. Our teachers do the best they can to give the students a quality educational experience, but our lack of funds to go to technology has really made us fall behind other schools in our area, both technologically and as a result, academically. We want to give our teachers and students as many resources to be successful as possible, and we believe that these remotes will be a good start. With them, the teachers can spend more time teaching, and helping/monitoring students, and less time running back and forth to their computer.
