Helping students see what they are being asked to learn in a classroom is extremely important, no more than in a science lab. The dissection kits, owl pellets and earthworms that we are looking to use will do just that in our 7th grade science classrooms and labs. It will allow students to be hands-on with the material that is being presented to them.
Being able to hold something and look at it is very important to a scientist. Allowing our 7th graders to be those hands-on scientist can make them appreciate nature and animals more than just talking about them.
Allowing our students to work with the proper materials will make them safer and work more efficiently in a lab setting than if they were doing this virtually. This is the reason we are asking for these materials.
