Our students love books, and we work hard to instill a love of reading for reading's sake, but we also like to reward them for meeting and exceeding their reading goals. Four times each year, Westside Junior High celebrates "Film Fest Friday." Select students from each ELA class come to the library for a movie reward, complete with movie-style snacks. Here, they enjoy a film adaptation of an award-winning novel, such as "Holes" or "Bridge to Terabithia." Help us reward our students as we work to foster a life-long love of reading.
