This will assist in allowing students to utilize hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the library. They will be able to freely touch the books and peruse the contents of books with clean, sanitized hands. Students will then be able to make selections accordingly to their interests and goals. Reading books that peak their interest will increase their love of reading and their reading levels. We want our students to be able to safely pickup a book and read the back/inside cover without fear of illness. Students will be able to engage in the selection process more organically; previously they were browsing their selections on the digital catalog. This will also allow for research in various subjects to occur in the library once again.
