As adults, we all have fond memories of our childhood field day experiences. The overall experience of being outside with your friends, food, games, activities, laughing, and smiling after working hard for an entire school year makes memories that last a lifetime. Field Day is a big experience for students at our school. Due to school closure last year, the students had to miss out on field day; therefore, this field day needs to be bigger and better than ever.
We want to give the students the memorable field day they deserve while still following the safety guidelines in place. Our students have spent their school year in isolation due to Covid19. Many memorable events have been cancelled. Field day is a way to help them socialize in a safe environment. This would help bring our in-person and remote students together. Our students will have a cup stacking challenge, chalk drawing, glowstick party, bag decorating, and crafts both in person and remotely. We want to create these memories for our students after the year they have endured.
Now it is time to reward them for their efforts and hard work.
