I chose a new hand drill and impact driver. We don't currently have either in the shop at the moment. Having these tools will allow my classes to work on their projects from their tables, rather than bringing them to our archaic drill presses.
Students will be making boxes and tables they can be proud of! These new tools will help them finish their projects and ensure they are sturdy and can handle weight. Currently we just use wood glue, which works great with smaller projects, but not larger ones.
