I have challenged my students to read 15 books of various genres over the course of 2nd semester. My hope in designing this challenge is to deepen their love of reading and open their eyes to the many types of books that are available to them. I want to celebrate my student's completion of this challenge by giving them additional books that are high-interest to read over the summer. By funding this project, my students who have not visited libraries or book stores in over a year will continue to have access to books until they return to school.
