It's important for students to not only learn the surface of the natural world around them but also dig deeper. Literacy is important in all classroom spaces. A Sand County Almanac is a naturalists classic, relatable for Wisconsinites as well as outdoorsman from across the globe. Students in Wildlife Management will understand more about the great outdoors around them while working their minds to become better readers, writers and analyzers. They will also be able to apply what they learn in managing the school forest as well as other natural areas they spend time in.

About my class
