Most students come into the library to find a book they want to read. Struggling readers will grab any book and carry it around unopened until the next time they come to the library. The books they are able to read often make them feel embarrassed to be reading obviously smaller books than their peers.
These books will help my struggling readers gain confidence in themselves. It will also help them feel like they fit in with their peers.
Students will have the ability to read these books at school and also take them home.
