Reading is essential in and out of the art classroom! By bringing text into the art classroom, students who may be reluctant readers get more exposure to the written word! Art and literature is a powerful combo, especially for our younger friends! By bringing storybooks into the art classroom, students get to learn to read both text and art for clues about the stories contained.
