During the pandemic, we have seen an increase in childhood obesity, childhood diabetes, and mental health issues due to COVID. The children are not getting a proper amount of exercise due to too much screen time. Our school is made up of 75% free and reduced lunch with many middle to lower class socio-economic status. Scooters will provide an opportunity for students to exercise over the summer and stay healthy mentally and physically. Help me support my students by providing them with scooters to keep them happy and healthy.
