My students come from low socio-economic families. Most of them are on free lunch. They are not sure if they will have a roof over their head for very long. We are a rotating door school, our students move in and out depending on when their lease is up. Our school is their safe haven away from all the things that are happening at home, ex. parents are in jail or they are constantly fighting or there are drinking and drug problems. These students look forward to coming to school everyday to learn and be safe.
