Every student at our elementary school will lay their hands on these robots. We have been thriving using our Sphero SPRK+ robots in the STEM Lab. Not only do we code them, but we use them for engineering projects like building chariots with these as our "engines" and then coding the course in a fun, non-competitive class race. We complete art projects using these like paintbrushes or using slow-motion software and utilizing the LEDs in a dark classroom. The possibilities are endless. I am seeking the newer version of our outdated robots, Sphero's BOLT. The BOLT has more capabilities, and with that, we can complete more challenges. Being fully funded will replace 6 of our robots and give us a big boost toward our larger goal of eventually replacing the whole class set.
