These books encourage comprehension because students have to make choices as they read to progress the story. By including these books as an option I am hoping to engage students who don't have a passion for reading. We will also be doing a book club! These books will be used in a Choose Your Own Adventure Book Club. After school students will stay and listen to the stories read aloud. Then they have to make decisions as a group. These discussions will empower students to defend their ideas and disagree in respectful ways.

About my class
