These books will help engage reluctant readers with enriching, relatable stories. These books include a variety of diverse authors, and a range of reading levels. With a mix of graphic novels, fiction, short stories, and essays - my students are bound to find something that is accessible and interesting to them. My students have mild to moderate disabilities and the majority struggle with reading. It's really crucial that I have a classroom library filled with high interest, low lexile texts to help them fall in love with reading, and eventually become stronger readers.
