Research regarding flexible seating in the classroom has been shown to enhance learning when students are able to choose the seating they engage from best. They have the opportunity to choose what seating is most comfortable to them. When students are engaged in their learning, they focus and potentially retain more information presented to them. Though this is not a “project,” it is what is best for children. I would love for my students to be able to have many options of where they would like to sit for that day!
