As an ENL teacher, I do not always have access to all the materials I need. I not only teach my students English but support their content area needs as well. Therefore, I need a variety of materials to properly educate my students and meet all of their academic and linguistic needs. My students' families have to buy all of their materials for their grade level classrooms. Since I am a support teacher, I do not feel it is appropriate for me to ask my parents to make any additional purchases Therefore, I supply my students with all of the materials they will need in my class.
