We’ve been learning from home due to the pandemic throughout the year, and some of our children don’t have iPads or computers at home to attend our Zoom learning sessions.
My project is to get an iPad for the children to have no access so they will be able to use them from home if needed.
As Pre-K students begin their learning journey, it is a great opportunity to engage them online to help them become familiar with the technological learning aspects that they will be doing throughout their school journeys.
The hope is that we get enough iPads for students to be able to sign out and take home to use for connecting with teachers during the online learning sessions. Parents will return the iPads at the end of the year so that they can be reused the following year.
Most of the lessons we learn are technology-based, especially now due to the transition all schools had to go through with the Covid-19 pandemic. Ensuring that all of the students have access to the same learning abilities will help drive success in all of them.
We will engage students in multiple aspect of learning which include Literacy, Math, Science, and Art.
