Multi-sensory learning is a great way for students to develop. Children in my classroom benefit from learning in different ways. Students with special needs love to do hands-on activities. Imagine being a 4 year old and coming into a classroom where there is a really cool table that lights up in different colors. Their task for today is to use their finger to write their name in the sand so that the light comes through. This is only one way we could use this table.
Children learn best through play!
