Our students are currently in hybrid learning, where some are in school, some are at home, and some are in both places. They are without the Montessori materials they are accustomed to using. We need a way for student to construct and learn without sharing materials.
We are currently learning to make electric paper circuits and building a city will be a perfect extension to this activity. Students can use what they have learned about series and parallel circuits to wire a city lit with LED lights. We can teach them to use cardboard file folders and duct tape to design their buildings and the clear tape can be used for windows.
