Once it is safe for us to gather in the whole group, this rug will create a space for us to hold morning meetings, listen to read-alouds, and have important discussions! Oral language development is so important for my English language learners and having a comfortable place to gather will help them to feel safe and take more risks. Our classroom is home-away-from-home for my students and I want to make it a colorful, cozy, and inviting environment for students to learn and socialize. This rug will truly make my classroom a place for all of us!
