These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to be involved in an ongoing project throughout the year. Students will begin the year learning about soil, will plant their seeds, and will check on their progress each day. Our school has a space that can be used for gardening which the students can be involved in planting seeds, pulling weeds, and the overall care of the garden. The students will be able to take part in many more hands on activities because of these materials. Students will learn how to take care of the plants and what is needed to help specific seeds to grow. They will be specifically using the items requested to grow plants inside and outside. Students will be involved in the gardening project firsthand and will gain knowledge by using the materials that will be provided.
