The microscopic world surrounds us and is in us. With a new microscope and projector microscope, my students will have a better view and a deeper understanding of multi and unicellular organisms.
Students will be able to see the crystalline structures of minerals, learn how the organelles of cells support life, and learn about unicellular organisms around us.
Having a microscope connected to my computer will help students hone in on specific structures they are learning about. With an additional microscope, students will have more individual time on the microscope when conducting a lab, because fewer students will have to share the microscopes we currently have. This will allow students more time to distinguish between different forms of cells and organisms, and how crystalline structures give minerals their unique characteristics.
