My students are non-verbal communicators who still have a lot to express. We need to discover modes of communication that is best for them. Trialing different communication devices is not feasible at this time as our classroom is lacking the resources to explore the different communication apps out there, all which now require an iPad.
With a classroom iPad fully dictated for communication, we can load apps that will allow us to discover which communication style is best for our students. Allowing non-verbal communicators a way to communicate is the most joyful and empowering experience. No student should ever be denied the opportunity to communicate based on limited resources. Please help my students find their voice!
