Our Journey Girls will work together to plant flowers that will attract butterflies to our school and improve the look of the front of the building. The girls will learn responsibility by taking care of the plants and flowers. We will use the second garden to grow vegetables to donate to our local food bank. The Journey Girls is an after-school program that promotes service learning. Our girls have written cards and letters to the Mayor and local nursing homes, made bird feeders, and held story hour for primary students. We will send in pictures to show our project!
