At our school we use Positive Behavioral Interventions Support (PBIS) which rewards students for positive behavior, good grades and attendance. This slushy machine would help us motivate and reward students for meeting and exceeding school expectations.
92% of our student body is economically disadvantaged, struggle with chronic absenteeism, and keeping up academically with there more advantaged peers. Providing tangible rewards for students help motivate them to succeed. We want to provide as mush motivation as possible to help our students realize they are capable of greatness.
We have seen success in the past with providing slushy's to students who meet expectations, however our machine no longer works and with the pandemic we do not have the finance to replace it. Please help us replace our machine, and reward our students when they return to the building for the 2021-2022 school year.
